Copyright & takedown policy
How to submit a copyright or rights complaint to DrexTV, what a valid notice must contain, how quickly we act, how counter-notices work, and our repeat-infringer policy.

Our position
DrexTV respects intellectual property rights and responds to properly formulated rights complaints. We provide access to a streaming platform and technical support for it. We are not a broadcaster and not a rights holder, and we hold no affiliation with, endorsement from or connection to any broadcaster, television network, sports league, federation, film studio, production company or subscription streaming platform. All trademarks, service marks and trade names referenced anywhere on this site remain the property of their respective owners.
If you own or control rights in content and believe that content is being made available through our platform in a way that infringes those rights, this page explains how to tell us and what we will do. We take these notices seriously and we act on valid ones, including where acting means removing a channel or feed from the platform entirely.
How to submit a notice
Send your notice by email to abuse@drextv.com. This inbox is monitored separately from customer support and is reviewed within one business day.
Please put "Copyright notice" or "Rights complaint" in the subject line so it is routed correctly. Do not send rights complaints to our general support address — they will be forwarded, but that adds delay for no reason.
We accept notices in English. If your notice is in another language, please include an English summary of the material concerned and the basis of your claim so that we can act without waiting for translation.
What a valid notice contains
To allow us to act quickly and correctly, please include all of the following. A notice missing the first three items cannot be acted on, because we will not be able to identify what to remove.
1. Identification of the work. A clear description of the copyrighted work or other right you claim has been infringed. Where multiple works are covered by a single notice, a representative list is acceptable.
2. Identification of the material. The specific material you are asking us to remove or disable, described precisely enough for us to locate it — for example the exact channel name as it appears in a programme guide, or the on-demand title and, where relevant, the season and episode.
3. Your contact details. Name, organisation, postal address, telephone number and email address, so that we can correspond with you and, where required, forward your notice.
4. A statement of good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or the law.
5. A statement of accuracy confirming that the information in your notice is accurate and that, under penalty of perjury where applicable, you are the rights holder or are authorised to act on the rights holder's behalf.
6. Your signature, physical or electronic.
How we respond
We acknowledge receipt of every notice sent to the abuse address. Valid notices are reviewed within one business day and, where we determine that action is appropriate, the material is removed or access to it disabled promptly.
Where a notice is incomplete — most commonly where the material is not identified precisely enough for us to locate it — we will reply explaining specifically what is missing rather than simply rejecting it. We would rather help you submit a complete notice than close an incomplete one.
Where the material was made available by an identifiable account or reseller, we notify that party of the action taken and provide them with a copy of the notice, unless doing so is prohibited by law.
Action taken in response to a notice is not an admission of liability, and nothing on this page constitutes a waiver of any right or defence available to us.
Counter-notices
If material you made available has been removed and you believe the removal was mistaken or that you hold the necessary authorisation, you may submit a counter-notice to abuse@drextv.com.
A counter-notice should identify the material and its former location, state under penalty of perjury where applicable that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification, provide your name, address, telephone number and email address, include your consent to the jurisdiction of an appropriate court, and be signed.
On receiving a valid counter-notice we will forward it to the original complainant. Where applicable law provides for restoration after a waiting period and no proceedings have been commenced, we may restore the material at the end of that period.
Repeat infringers
We maintain a repeat-infringer policy. Where an account, reseller or sub-reseller is the subject of repeated valid notices, we terminate that account's access, and in the case of resellers we terminate the reseller relationship and any sub-reseller structure beneath it.
Resellers operating on our platform are contractually bound by this policy and by our acceptable use policy. A reseller who repeatedly attracts valid notices is removed from the programme, and unused credits are not refunded in those circumstances.
Misuse of this process
Submitting a knowingly false or bad-faith notice may expose you to liability for damages, including costs and legal fees, under applicable law. We keep a record of all notices received and of our correspondence about them.
We will not act on notices that are plainly abusive — for example notices submitted by competitors with no rights in the material concerned, or notices seeking to suppress lawful commentary or comparison. Where we decline to act, we explain why.
Designated contact
All rights complaints, counter-notices and related correspondence should be addressed to our abuse desk at abuse@drextv.com. Where a formal postal address is required for service of legal process, email that address and we will provide the appropriate registered details.
For all non-rights matters — support, billing, refunds, reseller enquiries — please use the routes listed on our contact page instead, as the abuse desk does not handle customer issues and using it will only slow your reply.
Our related policies are our terms of service, acceptable use policy, privacy policy and refund policy.
