IPTV connections FAQ

Installs are unlimited. Simultaneous streams are not. These short answers cover how many connections a household actually needs.

In short

Every DrexTV plan includes one simultaneous stream. You can install the app on as many devices as you like — a stick in the living room, a phone on the commute, a laptop in a hotel — because the limit is on concurrent streams, not installations. If you need two screens playing at once, an extra connection is $4.99 a month on any plan, with no change of term and no device registration step.

Simultaneous stream questions

How many IPTV connections do I need?

Count screens that play different channels at the same time. One living-room stream needs one connection. A second room watching something else at once needs two. Full guide: /blog/how-many-iptv-connections/.

Does every DrexTV plan include one simultaneous stream?

Every DrexTV plan includes one simultaneous stream. You can install the app on as many devices as you like — a stick in the living room, a phone on the commute, a laptop in a hotel — because the limit is on concurrent streams, not installations. If you need two screens playing at once, an extra connection is $4.99 a month on any plan, with no change of term and no device registration step.

Can I install the app on many devices?

Yes. The limit is concurrent playback, not how many sticks or phones have the login saved. Sign out devices you are not using if you only paid for one stream.

How much is an extra connection?

$4.99 per month, per extra simultaneous stream, on any plan term. Same account — see /pricing/.

Why did my phone stop the TV mid-match?

The phone counted as a second concurrent stream. Close or sign out the mobile player, or add an extra connection if both must play together.

Will an HDMI splitter give two different channels?

No. It mirrors one picture. Independent viewing needs a second player and a second concurrent stream.

Should I buy two yearly subscriptions for two TVs?

Almost never for one household. One login plus an extra connection is the designed path.

How do I test connections on the 24-hour free trial?

Start the main TV, then open a different channel on a second device during your real peak evening. If the first drops, you need another stream or fewer concurrent habits.
